I had a bit of stressful day at work today so I was looking forward to having a run to clear my head. This was my first run on my own since the start of Janathon so I only planned to do a really short run up to the bridge and back. I went out almost as soon as I got home from work. I tried to set off at a good pace to make up for it only being a short run. I almost made it up to the bridge before turning round to head back. I had a sneaky breather as I waited to cross the road and then did a bit of a sprint up to my house.
My legs are aching all over – my shins, my ankles, my thighs and especially my calves. Thankfully though my knees seem to be ok – I had a knee injury before Christmas and I was worried about this causing me problems during the Janathon.
Am I really going to be able to keep this up for another 31 minus 6 days?
